ABOUT US

A's Papaya first opened in April 2017, specializing mainly on papaya salads. The name of the shop derived from the owner's name, A Xiong, who had assisted in other restaurants and delis before in previous years. A couple months after she decided to open the shop, her daughter, Der Yang, joined her and thus started the desserts/bakery side of the business. Der, who has degrees in Culinary Arts and Hospitality, brought along sweets to the savory salads that A makes. Together they made a change in the name of the business to A's Papaya & Desserts.
